　　短語：in walking distance在步行可到達的范圍之內

　　go the full distance比賽打完全場，賽足全局

　　例：We are able to generate points and the set point and the distance between points.

　　4、意為“遠方”

　　例：They were expecting each moment to see in the distance some indication of the enemy.

　　1、意為“拉開距離”，短語：keep your distance from sb./sth.與…保持距離

　　例：I retreated an one step and drew back distance with her.我后退了一步跟她拉開距離。

　　2、意為“與…疏遠”。短語：keep sb.at a distance同…疏遠;與…保持一定距離

　　例：There were periods of sulking,of pronounced distance,of coldness.

　　出現階段性的慍怒、明顯的疏遠和冷淡。

　　from a distance從遠處,和說話人有一定距離的

　　from the distance從偏遠的地方,多指郊區

　　in a distance在....遠的距離,后多加of

　　in the distance遠處,在偏遠的地方,多指郊區

　　at a distance有相當距離,不很近

　　at some distance在一定距離

　　at this distance of time在如此長久的時間

　　by distance按里程

　　within a stone's throw distance近處

　　within measurable distance of success成功指日可待

　　within walking distance很近

　　the distance between…之間的距離

　　the distance between wealth and poverty貧富間的懸殊

　　the distance between cars車距

　　the distance from east to west從東到西的距離

　　the distance of five kilometres五公里之遙
